The GRRA is much more than a professional organization.

Realtors R Rebuilding

Through a wide range of social, political and charitable initiatives, Greensboro REALTORS® strive to help build and strengthen their community every day.

The GRRA has members in 3 distinct geographic regions – Greater Greensboro, Randolph County through our Asheboro Randolph REALTOR® Council and Rockingham County through our Rockingham County REALTORS® Council.

We are also a founding member and shareholder of Triad MLS alongside our REALTOR® colleagues in Winston-Salem and High Point. Since 1991, the MLS has offered quick, reliable information to real estate professionals around the region, frequently offering new, cutting-edge technologies to help its members achieve their greatest potential.

For our Commercial practitioners, we are a founding member of the North Carolina CIE (NCCIE).  Our fully researched product covers the entire Triad region offering the most up-to-date commercial real estate information.  For full information on our Commercial arm, please visit the GRRA-RCA website.

Each year, our local REALTORS® engage in the community to help those less fortunate in Guilford, Randolph, and Rockingham Counties.  Some of the many projects undertaken include:

  • The Changing Lives Program
  • Get A Kid Ready For School – Helping collect needed supplies for our Adoptive School, Hunter Elementary School.
  • Professional Clothing Drive
  • REALTORS® ‘R’ Rebuilding – Partnering with Community Housing Solutions in Greensboro to help keep residents in their homes.
  • Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament in Asheboro – Helping raise money for Habitat for Humanity in Randolph County
  • Toy Drive to Benefit the Salvation Army of Rockingham County
  • Holiday for the Homeless – Feeding the Hungry on Christmas Day in Greensboro

Our Affordable Housing Committee spearheads several projects aimed at helping low-income home buyers achieve the American dream of homeownership, including a series of financial literacy courses aimed at first-time homebuyers in need of financial planning assistance. In 2010, the committee partnered with Homes4NC to offer one component of NCAR's new Workforce Housing Specialist Certification.

Each year, the Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Foundation lends financial support to several projects that have a direct and lasting impact on Guilford County's most vulnerable populations.  For more information on the Foundation, visit their website at realtorshelpinggreensboro.org

At the GRRA, we encourage all of our members to give back to our wonderful community, and we pride ourselves on providing them with constant opportunities to do so. We want the world to know: Greensboro REALTORS® care!

The Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association works at all three levels of government to make sure we are the advocates for Private Property Rights.  Leadership attends local council meetings and speak on issues central to our values.  Once a year all members are encouraged to take the “Trolley to Raleigh” to meet and speak with our State officials on what we are seeing in our local marketplaces.  To see all the ways that GRRA keeps Private Property rights in front of our officials please visit our Government Affairs website.

We feel that all our REALTORS® have more impact on their communities at large than just selling homes.  Contact a GRRA REALTOR® member today to learn how that can help you!
